Life Unexpected Reviews

Life Unexpected was a really enjoyable show with a unique concept and a cast of characters I quickly became invested in. I had actually watched the show years ago, but I remembered almost nothing about it, so it was fun getting to revisit it. I loved watching Lux navigate life after reconnecting with Cate and Baze, and I found myself rooting for both Lux and Jones as well as Cate and Baze throughout the series. The show had a cozy feel to it, from Cate’s house to Lux’s attic bedroom and even Baze’s apartment above the bar. While there were some slower moments, the characters and relationships kept me interested.

Season 2 introduced some great additions like Paige and made Tasha one of my favorite characters. Lux frustrated me at times, especially when it came to Tasha and Jones, but I still cared about her story and wanted the best for her. The ending gave me most of the outcomes I was hoping for, especially with Cate and Baze finally getting together, but I really wish the show hadn’t been canceled. The finale’s time jump wrapped things up, but I think two more seasons leading up to graduation would have been perfect. We got the ending, but I would have loved to see more of the journey and how the characters actually got there.

definitely could’ve had another season. why tf did the last episode just skip to graduation ?? at least it was an ending i guess. it’s also insane that the lux & eric situation went on for a whole season before everyone found out
