LEGO Marvel Avengers: Strange Tails

Happy National Superhero Day. I expected a standard Lego parody, but the influencer villain plot was surprisingly entertaining.

What Worked:
The CGI blocking leans into the theme with obscure cat-themed heroes. Through my Faith Methodism lens, the Avengers recruiting outsiders reminds me that community means recognizing everyone’s unique gifts. Hearing Benjamin Valic voice an older Peter Parker also gave a cool continuity I vibed with.

The Cuts:
Splitting this into two episodes means the middle really dragged for me; the clunky transition stalls the flow. Keeping it spoiler-free, the influencer gimmick gets repetitive and cringey. Plus, cramming in massive characters sidelined the new cat-heroes, not giving Sphinx or Tigra room to breathe.

Verdict:
A goofy brick adventure. Chill for hardcore Marvel fans, but skip if you hate cringey internet jokes.
