After getting over the ridiculous plot 😅, the show actually has some very wholesome and deep moments. Its also very cute and funny at the same time 🫶

I give this series a 10/10 is such a short yet sweet watch, I started this series thinking it was going to be all innocent but it actually deals with very adult topics but that’s what makes this series amazing! Highly recommend it!

At first I thought this was a slice of life kind of show but it was definitely more than just that. The series brings up some serious topics making it very wholesome and upsetting. But in the end it still one of the sweetest and warmest show I have binged watched.

Recommended.

This anime was so good my god. It was fun but sad at the same time and me as a very sensitive being felt the feelings coming from the characters.
The story follows a little boy with a majestic style of speaking who moves to live in a apartment alone.

Kotaro Lives Alone took me by surprise. The animation style is a bit unusual, but the story of a little boy living on his own and connecting with his neighbors is incredibly touching. It’s heartwarming, emotional, and had me in tears more than once. A beautiful, unexpected gem.

This is the only slice of life anime I’ve ever watched, was getting my wife to watch her first anime and I thought going into this it would be her sort of thing for sure, but never did I expect to like it my self. So meany heart-wrenching moments to enjoy and cry over. 🔟/🔟

I was addicted! Sad that it wraps up and ends quickly but i related to kotaro a lot

The storytelling in this anime is just beautiful. I wasn’t sure about the animation at first as it is a bit of a mashup of different styles, but I got used to that. Its strength is in the emotional depth though. Definitely not one for little ones though.

also i watched in dub cause comedy is almost always funnier in dub and kotaro’s VA was tooooooooooooo good, literally all of his dialogue was incredibly hilarious, that kid is so weird in the absolute best possible way.

i need more so badly its not funny. I’m gonna try giving the live action a chance.

I absolutely love Kotaro. I was suggested to watch this tv show and to give a go.
The plot is so heart warming and full of life’s lessons. I wish they had done another series, because id totally just sit and binge all at once.
