I’m so savagely angry

Truly horrifying. What I don’t get, is why didn’t they detain all the men instead of taking the children. Then talking to the youngest of the mothers or try to help unbrainwash them. I guess it’s easy to say from my point of view but they are taught to not trust outsiders.

Interesting psychotic people, didn’t really need to be 4 episodes long

Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey covers an incredibly disturbing story, but I honestly didn’t enjoy the documentary itself. The subject matter is shocking and important, especially hearing what the women and girls experienced, but I found the series slow and difficult to stay interested in.

There were definitely moments that were upsetting and disturbing, but the pacing dragged for me and it felt repetitive at times. I understand why so many people found it compelling, but it never really pulled me in the way other true-crime documentaries have.

The story deserves to be told, but as a series, this one just wasn’t for me.

Qué fuerte hay historia. Creo que lo que más pienso en sí es que esto sigue vigente. O sea, hay personas que siguen estando dentro de esta religión, y es muy complicado como dicen al final salir de ahí. Pero qué interesante

eerie, but thought the last episode was by far the most impactful. love this type of documentary too

I hate religion

The way it was told it was really really good. The story is a little bit disturbing though.

I didn’t know that many details about the Jeff Warren situation so it was interesting to me definitely something I would recommend if you don’t know much about the flds
