super invested, binged in just a few short hours, can't wait for the next season

9/10 Great series, was super interesting. Can’t wait until season 2. I had dropped the manga because it got stale but the anime is definitely better imo. My only issue with this series is it feels like a series where everyone will get super injured and almost die but then no one ever actually dies besides kaiju so there’s just no stakes and it feels super light hearted. I liked the animation and fights, I wish it was a bit cleaner but was really good overall!

Great show filled with amazing animation and fight sequences. A smooth first season that left me excited and ready to get another season. Its definitely lived up to the hype.

6/10 —> Cliffhanger menace

The show, offers good action, characters, and a solid plot. Nothing to ride home about tho. However the best thing it does is cliffhangers. Trust me and watch it in one go. Rip the people who had to wait weekly

Wow this was amazing and it definitely exceeded my expectations. The animation, fight scenes, and power system with the kaiju tech and weapons is so cool and was so fun to watch. I also really liked essentially all of the characters, especially Reno, hoshina, and kikoru but I came to enjoy all of their characters by the end. I thought the premise with Kafka being a human/kaiju was good and reminded me a lot of the beginning of aot. I also enjoyed kaiju no.9 as the villain. Seeing a kaiju that is able to learn and evolve as faster than humans can is terrifying. My only gripe about this show would be the mc. I initially thought that this show having an older mc than most other shonen/battle anime would make it unique, but unfortunately Kafka was kinda my least favorite part about this show. Don’t get me wrong I like his determination, drive, and other parts of his character, but despite him being the oldest of the main cast, he is by far the least mature and has these screaming fits which get pretty annoying pretty quickly. But besides that it still was a great watch and had me glued to my screen during countless different fights, can’t wait to see the next season and my goat ichikawa again

the story is great and i loved the animations!! still, all the relationships were a bit flat and superficial imo… i ended up not really caring what happened to most of the characters except for a couple of them… the cliffhanger was great and i’ll definitely watch s3 though

First season is great. It feels very attack on titan coded but with a spin that makes it unique enough. The characters are likeable and funny. The monsters are fearsome and mysterious. Excited to learn more. When’s season 2?
