Love the Craig of the Creek universe, so I had to see Jessica’s spin-off. Expected a standard preschool show, but it brings so much heart and clever humor.

What Worked:
The creators totally nailed the perspective shift; making the world look enormous which makes everyday tasks feel like massive adventures for me. Lucia Cunningham perfectly captures Jessica’s fierce independence. I also love how respectfully it handles big kid-sized emotions.

The Friction:
It’s a bummer it got cancelled just as it was hitting its stride. Because episodes are so short, the side characters didn’t get enough screen time for me. Plus, the episodic formula got a little repetitive when binging it all at once.

The Verdict:
Watch for a wholesome, cozy spin-off. Skip if you prefer shows for an older demographic.

Maybe I would like it if I was a “big kid”

Absolutely LOVED this show! A great watch for children, very informative and also instills good manners and ideals along side it's kid friendly humor! Shame it was cancelled in it's final season, cause this was a banger😔
