Ironheart

Marvel keeps giving their new heroes higher and higher stakes, the show is only halfway out, but i’m really enjoying the themes about grief and mental health for POC, the hate this show is getting from sweaty 40 year olds who hate diversity is soooo forced.

so far so good, I like it a lot

I’m surprised though with how little it was advertised. at least on my end I haven’t seen ANY advertisements for it 😭 I found out this was a thing on a billboard

so overhated already 😔

The disrespect this show has for Ironman is unacceptable. This honestly felt like someone read the wiki on Ironman to make this show. The writing, characters and acting are laughable. A couple parts were cool callbacks but they didn’t land. The show doesn’t know what it is.

Better then expected. Iron Heart is a cursed hero, no matter the format, her introduction is always clumsy, but I think this series really showed who Riri Williams is and what she can become in the future. Her evolution in the comics was satisfying, hope the screen can honor that

I get it. She wants to be her own character but the disrespect for one of my favorite characters growing up doesn’t feel right to me. Billion dollars or not, Iron Man wielded the darn infinity gauntlet to save the universe. I just wish there was more honor to Stark in this show.

It’s a rather well written show with an amazing cast. Riri is so fun to watch! That being said, I’m not so sure about the surprising direction they went with in the end. Hood’s motivation is probably the weakest out of this series so that’s a shame, especially with the buildup.
