Hurricane Katrina: Race Against Time Reviews

THIS is the documentary people need to watch. Those people are survivors & I cannot imagine living through what they lived through. Also, what General Honoré did should have been multiplied by the other people in charge. Much respect for him. Shame on the media.

I’m not from New Orleans and only seen what the media wanted us to see back then and I can say I had no idea about what was really happening behind the scenes. This documentary gave a lot of insight as to what really happened from the people who was actually there and lived through it. It was really sad to watch what they went through.

Learned a ton but oh my god was it sad, the fact that they were basically left there to fend for themselves is insane and proof that our country doesn’t care enough about its people

Nat Geo did this some justice, though they probably could have done 10 episodes. Nothing else I could say about this could touch the impact it had. A must watch.

Informative, sad, and hard to watch what happened.

Heartbreaking

Never forget how people of colour and the poor were treated during hurricane Katrina. This was truly devastating to watch 💔

I was heated.

incredibly powerful and gripping narrative of hurricane katrina that will leave you speechless across all kinds of emotions

pls educate yourself and watch one of many documentaries on this disaster

💔💔

Devastating

this made me so sad. great documentary showing before during and after katrina

Honestly one of the best documentaries I have watched in a while. Very good information very good real time video

Excellent doc. Much better than the recently released Netflix doc.

So sad what happened to those people.

Excellent!

Good overview of information, from way before the storm to after, providing various outlooks including both political and meteorological. So many people don’t know what actually happened during Katrina, and there is so much we can learn from it.

I remember it happening, but Lord was this show an eye opener. The only thing I will say is that it's a hard watch, but a necessary one.

A deep dive into the chilling response to Katrina that the media didn’t show at the time

So sad.
