Interviewing Ebtekar and other hostage takers and giving them a platform is what made me dislike this doc from the beginning. These people should be held accountable, the IRGC is a terrorist organization and the Islamic Republic has to go. FREE IRAN. LONG LIVE THE SHAH.

Fascinating that they got such access — hostages and hostage takers — to talk.

This is spectacularly produced. First time hearing and seeing some of this. I remember this crisis very well.

I knew the high level here but not the full story. Really well done, and only 4 episodes. Plays out a bit like Homeland/24, especially the opening episode or 2. Strong recommend for my fellow history buffs
