Slow burn watch, almost gave up because I didn’t know where exactly this was going, but the costume and set design were absolutely INCREDIBLE. The last two episodes got me 🥲, would’ve loved to explore more of this history and colonial India.

I had really high expectations for this and every single one was met.

Beautiful from start to end, Sanjay Leela Bhansali will always be my fav Bollywood director.

interesting story, very beautiful visuals, costumes, jewellery. Good performances. Got a little too dramatic at the end, I personally don’t like too much melodramatic patriotism. The only problem that I tried to ignore was the girl who played Alamzeb is the worst actress ever.
