Very surreal adaption of the book and I really enjoyed how they changed minor details and the ending

could only get thru like one episode - should’ve done this with hbo honestly because i couldn’t stand to watch it with ads when it’s already a slow build plot from the book. no i wont pay for hulu without ads, fuck hulu.

Quite heavy to finished but great ending.

A mostly boring, unfaithful adaptation that tries to be extra edgy, but instead dwells on meaningless filler and rushes important adapted moments. Certain characters and relationships are reduced. I actually did quite enjoy the new ending but that’s the only redeeming factor.

It’s been YEARS since I’ve read the book. I don’t remember anything about it so I watched this as is with no comparison. Wasn’t that interesting to me. Kept tuning out.
