8.5/10 solid doc on one of the Greats

George Carlin is one of the greatest comedians if not the greatest. He always would find a way to make people laugh, even if it was on a dark subject. My dad introduced me to his comedian specials when I was growing up and my dad would laugh his ass off. Carlin was also a genius. The guy was way too smart to be doing comedy. In this documentary you get to see that it’s not all sunshine and rainbows in this funny man’s life. It definitely makes you take a step back and realize that he was human too. I recommend this to anyone that love comedy and/or George Carlin. HBO did an amazing job with this one

The GOAT 🐐 Best philosopher/comedian of all time

Pretty good documentary all things considered, but it’s really messy at times. I know Carlin was a very political and down to earth guy comedy wise towards the end, but it sometimes took me out of the documentary. George Carlin is pretty funny still
