Cool concept, poor execution. This show is somehow both extremely out of pocket while simultaneously being extremely boring. Every character just happens to be either the dumbest or the most cruel person to ever live. The main character is insufferable. All of the female characters are so poorly written and don’t even get me started on the dog bro. The ending was unsatisfying and I don’t feel the plot ever hit on anything interesting beyond surface level human nature.

Perfect blend of existential dread, body horror, watch for “the plot,” and hyper violence. I strongly recommend this to fellow fans of Psychopass and Alice in Borderland. Not for the squimish though.

I loved the tv show but the ending is honesty garbage, compared to the manga the show does not at all do justice to the gantz name. There’s so much that happens in the manga that you never see get brought to the screen (especially the end of the manga series, I would have loved to have seen it animated😭😭) I definitely recommend reading the manga if you loved the TV show, you won’t be disappointed, it’s a bit weird and has some irrelevant arcs but if you can get past that then you’ll probably love it just as much as me!!! 🦾💥
