Honestly, I started watching it because of all the drama and gossip surrounding it. It’s a very well-made series from a cinematographic perspective. The characters were portrayed very closely to the real people.

Sometimes it became frustrating hearing the iconic phrases because they stopped feeling natural and started to feel overused. The same happened when ideas seemed to come to him too quickly, and suddenly he was writing and creating scripts overnight.

You’re going to hate Chespirito, “Margarita,” and “Marcos,” but all of them did an excellent job portraying their characters. It’s an entertaining eight-episode miniseries. The timeline is not presented in chronological order, but what I appreciated is that they include dates so the audience doesn’t get confused.

I would have liked to see more happy moments with the cast, since after the trip to Acapulco, everything seemed to revolve around conflicts. I also would have liked to see more details about the conflict with Carlos Villagrán.

I think Roberto Gómez Fernández and Paulina Gómez Fernández created a beautiful tribute to Graciela Fernández through this series, but they also revealed the truth about the infidelity between Roberto and Florinda.

Many people didn’t like the ending, but I thought it was a beautiful conclusion — a compilation of everything that shaped his career and legacy.

P.S. You’ll get to see some surprise cameos from the original actors from the neighborhood. 👀

As someone who grew up watching el Chavo del Ocho it was nice to get a little insight on the background of the mastermind who created him, there was just a bit of dramatization that made the whole thing not feel quite as authentic but still a good watch!

Disfruté la música, vestuarios y la interpretación de los actores. Es una linda forma de ver la vida de Chespirito, su inspiración y todo lo que construyó y destruyó. El único personaje villanizado es Quico porque a Margarita la suavizan cada ep. Roberto trató muy duro a Graciela
