The first three episodes were slow and a bit boring, but starting with the fourth episode, the series becomes much more interesting.

The show basically explores the relationship between the United States and France through the story of Benjamin Franklin. The cinematography, costumes, screenplay, and overall story are excellent. Michael Douglas delivers a fantastic performance as Benjamin Franklin!

Decent period piece. I liked it

7/10 what I loved most about this series is that most of it is in French BECAUSE IT IS IN FRANCE! I know it is more difficult to make shows this way, but I wish more shows would do it rather than having characters speak English instead of their native language.

Very cool series! Entertaining, light, dramatic. Even though we know the outcome, it still kept me on the edge of my seat. Franklin was a saucy old man.

I loved this and learned a lot! History class should be more like this and I would have done better, LOL

i understand this show is ab Franklin’s time in France, but did 70% of the dialogue really need to be French? if i want to watch a show, i want to watch a show - not read it.
