My first time ever time watching it was years ago, and it being one of my first anime’s I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I’m forever glad to push through the awkward bits in the beginning. Before long you barely notice the Gifting or the moans from eating, and just begin to enjoy an amazing story with wonderfully written characters. Soma Yukihira was my first ever anime crush, and this rewatch only solidified my love for him. I’m happy to say I’m also a huge ErinaxSoma shipper as well.
If you haven’t given this show the time of day due to rumors or the fact it’s an ecchi anime, you’re sorely missing out an a wonderful series. Come in with an open mind and you’ll be able to see just how amazing this show can be. And don’t even get me started on how mouthwatering the anime food looks, it’s a 100/10 show give it a shot, you won’t regret it😈

I really loved this show!!! It’s one of the best anime’s I’ve seen in a HOT minute. I love all the characters dynamics and the food always looked soooo good. And Soma always wanting to keep getting better and better is a good characteristic for him. This show slayed

season 5: meh; we don’t talk about her

nonetheless, this will forever be a comfort series of mine and i’m glad i revisited it. when i can see past the ecchi scenes that’s how you know i’m into it 💀 Soma is one of my all-time favorite MCs, and you find yourself growing attached to sooo many different characters. I typically have trouble with anime that has a huge cast, but Food Wars does a wonderful job

the way they reacted to the food threw me off like a lot but the plot was really good overall i would watch it again

art style is amazing and so is the story. the fan service is great and doesn’t distract from the story at all.
