The show takes the magic of the movie Australia and beautifully re-captures it. With that fantastical feel that Luhrmann is so well known for on full display, lovers of the movie will certainly adore this show, especially on its message of equality in Australia & the Stolen Gen.

I remember liking Australia when it first came out, I’m only on the first episode, but I’m not feeling it. I never realized how clunky and abrupt the cinematography was until now. Undecided if I’ll finish, but just meh for now.

this is literally just the movie “Australia”, stretched out to double the length. and for what? it was already garbage.
