Dragon Ball Z Kai

Dragon Ball Z is one of my favorite anime’s of all time. DBZ Kai made it even better. The opening slaps. Never would skip it and listen to it each episode. Favorite arc had to be the Buu saga. Especially super saiyan three. Loved watching Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks. Each villain in this show is so memorable. Frieza, Cell, and Buu were just awesome. Got to see so many memorable moments and iconic lines. If you need to choose an anime to watch, I recommend Dragon Ball Z Kai. 9.4/10

i used to say i’d never watch dragon ball. then i got a boyfriend whose favorite show is dragon ball. and now here we are a whole show later and i actually really enjoyed it. the characters annoyed me plenty of times but in the end i came around to them. piccolo, gohan, and vegeta were definitely my favorites

The anime that started it all for me. This show has so many awesome characters and forms (ex Goku, Vegeta, Trunks, Gohan, Piccolo, Cell, Android 18 etc) All 3 Arcs are good and Kai cuts the fillers so that’s nice as well. I probably rate it so high cause I grew up on it 9.4/10

Great series, however it cannot replace the original dbz. The overall dub was better but the important speeches i believe the original did them better, not to mention some missing parts, such as the training in the buu arc with Pikkon and the others. Watch It after the original

IMO Kai is the best way to watch/rewatch DBZ
The VA is much better besides some exceptions like teen gohan.
The pacing is much faster and flows perfectly until start of Buu arc.
Buu arc is slower and the picture is stretched for some reason.
Some rare censorship compared to OG
