holy fucking peak. this just might be a top 3 season of dexter. everything about this was great. not a single bad episode. dexter finally having a happy ending for a first time in a long time. angel dying was so sad man:( and seeing brian,doakes,miguel prado, and harry all in one season is so wild to me. to the other killers down to the detectives. everything about this show was so fantastic. the ending was great, finally seeing prater die was so satisfying even tho he made a funny face. i really hope there’s a season 2 soon

After completing this I’ve started going back and rewatching the first few seasons of the OG show, and while this show was good, it’s missing the magic of the police station. Dexter navigating the relationships with his coworkers while hiding his true self was the reason resurrection was possible, and with dexter taking a more isolated approach in this, it didn’t feel as special.
Still an enjoyable watch though

They nailed it with this, everything was perfect, they had to clichè it a lot according to their convenience but apart from that the storyline was perfect along with the crazy setup and the ending 🙌

Didn’t have expectations from this, bc new blood was mid. Thought it’s gonna be the same for Resurrection- But I was wrong. It was actually so much better than I expected. Great plot line. I loved the whole “serial killers meetings” idea, and Prater’s character was interesting.

first time the end of a season didn't have me rippin my hair out wondering what was gonna happen next (usually we get annoying cliffhangers). satisfying plot with good characters. i'm still excited for the next season, so hyped to know what comes next. the writers are lowk goated

Fucking A the old Dexter is back and I love it!! SUCH a great season. LOVED Harrison and Dex’s relationship. BATISTA😭😭 (it was inevitable rho) and the antagonist was brilliant. It deserves it’s high rating 10/10 (this is right under my 3 fav seasons of this show i think)

Dexter in the Big Apple. Plenty of cameos help with the somewhat meandering plot, but Harrison’s development was cut short in exchange for it. I like this season more than the previous & I hope it keeps its stride moving forward. Less needledrops please and change the detective.

Finally a good ending to a Dexter series. This is by far the best spinoff they've made, very impressed. You get to see a lot of past characters make an appearance as well as previous storylines that we've seen before. You gotta watch all the other Dexters before this one, it makes it so much better

And look I do agree that it does need to end some day. Does it feel like a bit of a cash grab ? A little bit. But is it fucking mad fuck yeah

The best of the expanded universe of dexter so far. I thoroughly enjoy watching Dexter assume the role of the "Dark passeneger". the comedic aspect, however unexpected in a series surrounding serial killers, was very welcomed. Michael C Hall's performance is flawless as always.

Dexter is back. This season did not disappoint one bit. Leaning into nostalgia and creating new ways to sneak around getting caught. Dexter is the goat and continues to be so. Harrison finally gets his redemption. Some very awesome cameos and a promising start to a new Dexter franchise. 8.4/10
