This is the finale that Dexter deserved. While the first episode is a little cheesy, the rest of the season becomes a game of cat and mouse that feels like a perfect build off the original. It’s no trinity or ice truck killer, but it does tackle themes more mature than Dexter.

It was excellent, not perfect, Angela reminded me a lot of Debra, Clancy did an impeccable job as Kurt, amazing acting.
The series had great pacing, story and background music along with cinematography but it felt like eating a very cold stale dry piece of bread...

Apparently this one is received pretty poorly but I enjoyed it. It was a clear step-up cinematographically, and while the ending kinda came out of left field, it didn’t feel totally out of the realm of possibility.

*sigh* here we go. Eps 1-9 bring back peak Dexter. Harrison’s re-emergence & relationship w Dexter helps build his father arc. Kurt reminds me of the glorious villains of old. However, the ending SUCKS. Dexter breaks his code which he’d never do, even for fatherly sacrifice. 8.3

5.9/10 They can’t keep getting away with killing this mf and then reviving him. Everything that made Dexter good was just completely striped from the spin off. Terrible ending but not quite as bad as the first.

They did the whole Dexter series very dirty in this revival, they made him out to be this sporadic killer who doesn’t think about his kills. He had no personality like he did in the original series, and he never would have killed a cop. He would have figured out an alternative.

Tbh I liked the dexter ending rather than this… Jim Lindsey is so BORING like he doesn’t do that much to stop himself from killing people and there’s like no affect when he does… esp when he kills an innocent?? Harrison is also so annoying sadly 😓

Pretty slow starting but gets pretty crazy mid way through the series. Def not as good as Dexter but it's cool to see some of the old characters come back. I'm not sure I like the ending, but closure was set

The ending is so bad , they could have end it in another way, but not this. I was waiting Batista for meeting Dexter F2F, and Miami Metro finding out the truth about him , the only good thing is meeting his son and tells him the truth , and what happened to aster and cody?

A pretty great way to end the show. Tons of tension, great characters, and writing. It’s genius. I love Dexter. I’m sad this is the end of his character, but it was rather fitting I can’t lie. This season reminds me a lot of season 8. So good, but the ending was alright. 9.5/10

If undecided was a button! I was so excited for this follow up series. But I think they lost their groove a little bit. I need to see another season before giving it a fair ranking. The ended was pretty disappointing and the show felt like it could have been done a little better.
