Ok unpopular opinion I actually liked the first 6 seasons, but the last two had a really severe drop in quality… the show keeps a certain kind of consistency throughout but it just gets lost season 7/8 😭 ALONGSIDE MY OPP HANNAH I HATE HER I HATE HER

one of the best shows ever made

One of, if not the best thriller out there. Dexter Morgan is one of the best characters ever created, and the concept for this show is just incredible. All amazing seasons but 6. Favorite was 4. Not a great ending, but I already knew that going in. Absolute masterpiece. 10/10.

really cool when i was younger but when i tried to watch it again now its terrible quality and acting😭

i stopped watching around season 5 because it started to drag. every season is the same basic plot in which the newly introduced character always ends up getting killed and its sort of a shame because theyre always 10x more interesting then the main cast we’re left with.

this show is SO good. i was so intrigued the entire time. SEASON FOUR I WAS SITTING ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT SHOCKED THROWING UP CRYING!! im not going to lie some plot points made me want to stop watching. poor debra alwaysss has stuff going on. shes also like a HORRIBLE cop… i mea

Review of Dexter
The golden age of television. Seasons 1–4 are the peak of Dexter, and Michael C. Hall is Dexter — it’s a beautiful performance from start to finish. I’m writing this after watching the final episode, and I agree it wasn’t what anyone was expecting, but I respect it. Each character was so loveable, and the show will stand the test of time. It’s finally getting the love it has always deserved. 9/10.

Best thing I ever watched. Unforgettable experience. Love Dexter with all my heart forever.

Loved this series, even if it downgraded as it went on. It made me want to be a forensic blood spatter analyst and was a breath of fresh air seeing the killer’s POV instead of the cops. Awesome setup, super entertaining. Overall 10/10

Dropped after like S3 or S4 or something, just really not my thing. Other than the “big moments” or “X Iconic Scene”, it’s surprisingly forgettable and I’ve heard the later seasons are absolutely insane and out of left field. Loads of other people explained it better than I can.

Solid show, with a great cast of characters. Season 4 was the clear standout in my eyes, and the show definitely worsened afterwards.
