Not giving, pretty much just overrated in my opinion. I barely got past the first episode. The movie with actual people is way better than the anime version.🤷🏾♀️

This was a great anime. I loved how the main characters were really smart and great problem solvers. They were always suspicious of one another 🤣. This is another great starter anime. Bad ending though, it could’ve been better. Although, I give this a high rating 9/10.

probably my fav anime of all time?? although it kinda went downhill after L’s death :( wannabe L fucking Near. to be clear I wasn’t on either Light’s or L’s side, or maybe both side idk. but Light>Near & Mello. wish it would’ve ended with L’s death tho, but made more epic. rip L

I enjoyed how a lot of the characters were really smart critical thinkers. Some points in this show left me speechless like L’s death, I never expected it to happen. The ending also left me empty. Did kind of bore me at some points but overall 8/10 a really great watch

9/10 The deception and batlle between L and Light really is what gives the show its charm. I love the idea that they are investigating something that they cant even prove is real or could exist. The soundtrack also slaps and the emotional scenes are so good too.

this is a masterpiece - the story, the plots, the animation - everything about it is just perfect the only thing that makes me sad is that N got Kira in the end
it always had to be L, L was so smart and they did him wrong letting him die

First 25 episodes was peak, and then story slows down after L’s death. However, I actually enjoyed the Near / Mello arch quite a bit. This story has some great twists. The pride comes before the fall man. Light was too arrogant for his own good. Tragic downfall. 8.8/10

The power to kill one by simply writing his name, that might be one of the best ideas for a show ever. This so confronting to watch because we are Light Yagami, we're humans. Would we be able to resist this temptation? Most would think so of themselves, but few actually would...
