3.5/4. Took me a while to get into it, especially after Wild Bill Hickok was killed. But Al and Bullock kept me intrigued until the very end

This was an amazing show and it always makes me sad that it was cancelled so early. Horrible decision by HBO.

Slow starter but strong performances by all, particularly by McShane.

I guess old Westerns just aren’t my thing. I couldn’t get past the opening scene because all I could see was Raylan Givens. Justified & Westworld are more in my wheelhouse. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Deadwood is a gripping Western drama that pulls you in from the start. It boldly reinvents the genre with raw storytelling, brilliant dialogue, and complex characters. Ian McShane’s Al Swearengen is iconic. A daring, intense masterpiece.

Amazing series

One of the most well written and amazingly developed shows I’ve seen yet. The shows amazing writing keeps it interesting from start to finish, but I must warn you, it is insanely slow and has little to no action. But those who seek a great plot and story, this is it. 10/10 show!!

Watched first episode, couldn’t get into it. Didn’t continue watching.

David Milch is a vibe. I love the cadence of the writing, it’s so unique and interesting.

Strong characters you’ll love. Swearing like troopers. Fantastic series. Could have gone another season. 8/10

i love shows like this, def not for everybody but if you like history and like a bunch of outlaws saying fuck all the time def would recommend 🤣
