Watched s1 & 2 on Netflix. Amazing scenery, interesting history. Storyline was a little weak at times, season 2 a bit of a grind but was ok. 5.5/10

Such a phenomenal modern western. I hope it does right by the Diné people. Great performances, solid writing, beautiful setting.

Loved season 1 but 2 dragged on for a bit. Still entertaining

Having seen the 1st season and the first episode of the 2nd, I can't say I'm as excited as the previous ones. Despite the "investment", the script is nothing particularly original, the honest native policeman, who fights alone with the bad guys and the sold-out white FBI cops. The grief for his lost son, for whom at the end of some season he will logically take revenge. And then what? Will the series end? And only the comments I read + the fact that - for once - the natives are the good guys (AND the bad guys, though), I was expecting something quite innovative. Not that it spoiled me, it looks and is actually enjoyable, I wouldn't call it a masterpiece though.

If there's one thing that spoiled it for me, it's the very poor sets, since we're talking about an indigenous camp, they don't even need buildings, and even in the vast desert landscape, there are scenes where you can tell that the horizon is a photograph! With few words, they gave them a starring role, but maybe one reason was that they spent less that way!
I could be wrong, that's how it seems to me. 😜
