This shows us just how difficult it is for victims of cults/SA to attain justice. It’s actually insane that there’s so much evidence against Robert Shinn but he’s still out there with no repercussions.

Wow, the fact that some of them are still there and new members keep joining is wild after all the stories came out about this man! Brainwashing is real but this is just beyond me! How do you get so blinded by a cult!!

it’s one of those netflix documentaries that can be told in a 90 minute movie instead of 3 episodes

This was an average Netflix docu-series. There's also nothing in this that makes it stand out from any other low-budget documentarial content that Netflix has produced in the past. As well as this, I feel the series was very slow and the unnesscessary length of it harmed it because I found myself getting bored at times and losing interest because it felt as if the show was going over the same thing again and again purely so that they could fill up their runtime. 
The stories of the victims were definitely harrowing however, and I'm glad they recieved this platform to speak on this issue. The actual core of the story was very interesting; the series would've just benefited from cutting an episode.

Interesting documentary - would like to see updates in the future

Had a semi strong start to the series and then became boring. Felt like a chore to finish.

A docuseries that should have been a documentary. While a fascinating topic, it was too long & bloated which led to many of the main characters of the doc to become a bit unlikeable.

I truly feel bad for the victims just like with any others from documentaries but also judging the documentary itself, it could have been a 90 min one for sure. I can't believe that this cult is still running apparently? Crazy.

As some people mentioned, could have been shorter. Some parts weren’t needed. But the story is insane. How brainwashed are these people and how sick are some people

this series is absolutely amazing with crazy plot twist. It’s a true story about Miranda and her sister Melanie about how they sucked into a cult, but Melanie gets out, but she was never in it.

I knew cults existed but I’m glad to have learned of a more modern day cult.
Not a must watch. But definitely if you like true crime
