What a disaster. I think the main plot itself would have been an amazing heartwarming movie but making it into a series was a terrible idea. It’s too sitcom, the writing is so unrealistic and the acting isn’t great either! I was super excited to watch this. It just wasn’t it.

Omg I’m glad that Laverne Cox was able to bring this story to life despite the challenges and wow, this show was absolutely hilarious lmao. I really enjoyed every minute and I hope we get more!

Clean Slate as a show alright and kinda corny. It’s nice seeing Lavern on my screen, she’s very talented. Overall it’s just ok, i’m not sure how to improve it.

Excellent characters, genuine laughter. It reflects well with the everyday life in the South. The struggles in balance with the energy & determination of people to make it right. The plot is well curated, it builds tension with such mastery. Bloomed into what it was meant to be.
