I’m not a gambler but this show made me want to become a bookie. The money and the laughs were flowing.

I thought the writing was clever. It’s a fast show, I finished both seasons in less than 2 weeks. I’m not sure of the show was cancelled because the ending was abrupt, lol. But I still enjoyed it.

This series follows around a real life bookie and his buddy in the everyday lives of a bookmaker in the older times before online sites and legal gambling. It touches on how difficult it can get when dealing with someone that does not have the money to pay the bill, in the bookie line of work you have to send a message. This show also touches on the lifestyle you will live in doing so.

I give this series 5.5 bags of popcorn as the series was a quick watch but nothing did much of grabbing my attention that I found to be more than a little chuckle. I wanted to laugh like a kid and this is not the series to do that for me. It wasn't all negative as I was enjoying the overall concept but nothing was the excitement I was wanting to see to get me more into it. I would tell maybe a sports fan to give it a watch if they have a few hours before bed but outside that I wouldn't.

Feel good show. Got some dumb humor but funny still the same. I’d give it a 7.7 I liked it.

Episodes are too short

Started off really great but then the plot got dumb & similar to every other tv show with cheating & jokes that try too hard to be funny.

it’s pretty funny, seeing charlie sheen was cool. hope this gets another season
