Definitely had a slow start but I love the idea of bringing back to light Blockbuster. I wish it got a chance at another season because I think it could definitely get better. So many shows don’t have that great of a first season but then they get better as it progresses.

Closer to average but it deserves a thumbs down for a weak pilot episode. I gave this a chance and watched til the end, there were some highs (mainly due to movie references & nostalgia) but the writing, chemistry, and production quality were all 👎🏾

Controversial opinion: but I actually LOVE DVDs more than streaming services. And yes Ik it’s ironic that I watched this on Netflix but it’s just not the same movie vibe if not watched in the dark on your tv with the DVD

first few ep was nice. wasnt the brightest just a classic workplace story‼️was the last blockbuster running on what was left i felt bad about it barley being enough to pay rent🫷REMINDS ME OF REALITY😒timmy & eliza COULD OF BEEN A THING but the show ended too soon before finding out

It wasn’t the funniest show, but by the end of season 1 I did find myself thoroughly enjoying the story and the characters.

It ends on a huge cliffhanger, which makes it almost criminal that it was canceled. The show needs a second season to resolve that ending

I started watching this because I love Brooklyn 99 and was like, “Hey, that’s Amy!” But it just wasn’t as funny as I thought it was going to be.

Fun series. Jokes were not always that great. But loved the vibe around blockbuster. Characters besides Timmy and Eliza felt a little plain.

i watched this in one setting and i think i lost brain cells but it was pretty fine

No clue why this show was made but you could say that about any and all shows.

A comedy that isn’t really funny with characters that you could care less for.

A story about keeping a business that is already doomed afloat as a show that also fell through in the end. (cancelled)

Honestly you could take it or leave it, good for background noise maybe but really it isn’t that enjoyable, I also remember around the time this came out all the big media outlets were talking about this and that still didn’t help this series. And that last episode is genuinely ironically funny because it’s the genuine last episode. [4/10]

This was such a good show, it’s like superstore kinda. So sad this show go canceled!!!

it sucks that this only got one season. it definitely had pretty nice sitcom potential. i want to see what happens with the characters :(

Blockbuster felt like a show that could’ve become something special if it hadn’t been axed so early. The cast is likable, and the nostalgic setting gives it a unique tone. It just needed more time to grow into itself.

Not extremely bad, but not memorable. Just so mid.
