The story was great and the animation wasn’t so bad it negatively affected my pov for the entire show. 1997 is definitely better but I’m glad I got to watch more of the story overall Berserk is an amazing show! 👌🏾💯

The cgi monster that is berserk 2016 makes my eyes bleed. I can’t believe i watched every episode

apart from cgi, this was good. however if this is ur favourite anime well.....

i was happy i got to see more animated berserk content, too bad the animation is a total nightmare.

If you can get past the terrible inexplicable CG animation, this is a worthwhile continuation of the better 90s anime series. It doesn't catch up to where the manga is, ending maybe around deluxe volume 9-10. I'm curious if the new Mappa anime will pick up from here or restart.

manga better

Yeah this was pretty bad. The first season was a drag to get through but the second season wasn’t too bad. Apparently it’s not the most accurate adaptation of Berserk but honestly I wouldn’t know.

The 3D animation killed it for me. It feels so soulless and clunky. I did like Guts and I’ll probably just end up reading Berserk

With source material like Berserk, it takes a lot to make it unwatchable. Although not entirely accurate to its source, still has great action and interesting characters.

story is really good but it needs reanimation

I almost stopped watching after season 1, but I’m glad I powered through bc season 2 was actually immensely better. The animation is what it is, but it’s the story that sucks in season 1. The story in season 2 is so much more interesting and actually fun to watch!
