If you watched Inventing Anna or listened to the Scamanda podcast then this feels like someone put them in a blender and created Belle Gibson. It’s despicable what lengths people will go for a buck.

A little confusing story at the start of the show. They «time skip» a lot and sometimes it can be a little hard to understand exactly where in the timeline things are happening, but the later episodes it all just comes together perfectly like a jigsaw puzzle. 😍 Absolutely 💯 ❤️ it.

This was really good! The only thing I didn't like was the non-linear timeline, which was a bit confusing at times. I despise when shows do that! (Oh, and if you thought the actress is over-acting, check out some footage of the real Belle... yeah, yikes!)

You almost feel sympathy for the main character. I can see why she lied. She had a tough childhood where she got no attention, so it was her only way to get people to recognize her, but that doesn’t justify her actions. The ending broke me me when her son mimicked her strategy

Loved this show. So sad it’s a true story. I HATE YOU BELLE. Justice for all the people affected :( so entertaining and educational

I had not heard about this viral media scam until this film popped up on my Netflix recommended. I enjoy how the chose to tell this story. Makes you remember that social media is truly nothing more than a form of storytelling using deception.

Really good! It was a bit confusing though because the storyline is non linear and sometimes they skip time. However when you’re into it, it’s very good. Great acting. You almost have sympathy for Belle. Crazy story.
