Great show. I was very intrigued with the show the entire time. James Franco did an amazing job. The story is very interesting and the ending was bittersweet and emotional. I recommend it.

Heard a lot about the book but it was too thick so decided to watch the show.
it was Mehh for me.
The show is well received and loved but it is an American show and its core hooks on the American nostalgia which i not being one can't relate to hence its a mis but still enjoyable

I was critical of some of the adaptations because I enjoyed the book so much - but overall I really enjoyed seeing it come to life on screen. And the historical accuracy: especially for that faithful day was impressive. The costumes on the extras alone are worth watching.
