Zero Dark Thirty

It’s a movie that’s not afraid of asking tough questions or of challenging popular sentiments. It’s also a movie made with impeccable filmmaking style and skill. Without resorting to polarizing tactics it represents a clever balance of emotion and catharsis.

did not enjoy watching all the torture. Jessica chastain was really good.

Acting was amazing

Plot was incredible (Plot as in how they captured it)

I genuinely found myself staring at the screen as if in a trance for the majority of this movie. Excellent.

It’s the last scene that really puts everything together in my opinion.

She dedicates her life and career to finding and killing one man, for her country. But for what, in the end.

It’s not just another movie about the USA being the heroes and doing whatever they want. Jessica Chastain portrays all of the nuances, the guilt, the mixed feelings, the losses, that are often (if not always) erased in these quests for revenge.
