First time ever watching a movie on 2x speed💀

despite being just over an hour, this movie packs a punch with its monotone color palette that seethes with the feeling of isolation. natalia dyer’s performance is relatable, intimate, and perfectly captures innocence and confusion— especially during her powerful final monologue.

Kinda weird but also super good

I think it gives a light hearted representation of what it’s like growing up religious, while still subtly showing the guilt, shame, gossip, judgment, hypocrisy, sexualization, homophobia, and sexism.

Conclusion? Live your life, and stop letting a book dictate it.

Ugh i really fucking hate this stupid film. Everyone is a robotic hypocrite except for Laura, she's the only one who acts like a real human being. I can't describe the hate i have for this. 2nd worst movie of all time. Wish i could erase this from my memory. Fucking wack ass film

As a former horny teen and also former Catholic, this movie is SOOOOOOOO relatable. Definitely recommend to anyone that’s left the Church.
