X-Men Origins: Wolverine

I remember liking this movie as a kid but when I rewatched it now as an adult, I came to the realization of just how much I don’t like it. There were so many moments like the noticeably bad CGI claws, bad dialogue, horrendous Deadpool iteration, etc. that just made me 🤦‍♀️

Currently watching it, seen it before, I’m going to add comments. Those will be my notes through out the movie, then- I will edit this review to my review.

Understood the hate it received towards the end. NGL they did Deadpool wrong but I honestly loved this movie a lot. Showed Wolverines origin and would’ve loved if they kept it a series of movies for more origin stories. 7/10

huge jackedman 😛 rewatching this made me realize it is not that great lol. i love wolverine but overall this movie is not anything special. but it’s still important to understand logan’s character.

They really botched the Deadpool origin.
His design as weapon XI was genuinely so bad.
Solid action movie. Got some insane Wolverine moments.
Started as a simple revenge film but quickly turned into the convoluted stuff we’re used to in X-men films.
Loved the world building and adding all these mutants like Deadpool and gambit. Something that should have been done in the original three.
Also love the Stryker context and Prof. X starting the school with the imprisoned kids.
Lot to like, even more to dislike.
