X-Men: First Class Reviews

OKAY PREQUEL

charles is so damn fine oh my god

loved being able to see the backstory of xmen, the lore is insane. it’s funny how they tried to recruit logan in the first place but he said “fuck off” nice touch.

BEAST THO LMFAOO lowkey got his karma for calling mystique ugly

I love this movie, but put Emma in a better outfit for gods sake. Also, Erik and Charles are dating, it’s the only explanation I’ll accept.

ERIK

Beach divorce😔

Great backstory for how the X-Men came to be. Stacked cast with McAvoy, Fassbender, Lawrence, Bacon, etc. They were all perfectly cast for their respective characters IMO. A bit slow at times, but overall it was very entertaining & I liked the tie in to real historical times.

Not as bad as you may think, but It was the first X-men I saw and I didn't rly enjoied it, felt kind of bored sometimes and the antagonist weren't that impressive. But I rather liked the plot in the end (which is the explanation for X-men following). Btw, liked the serious aspect

Beast alone makes me want to give this a “meh” rating, WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT.
But jokes aside, it was a great “prequel,” shows how the whole story basically began, and it was good, I would be lying if I said it was better than X3 and X1, it was solid, but nothing special

I really like this movie it has a good basic origin starting for most of the characters and I love Jennifer Lawrence as mystique

Honestly not my favorite X-Men movie. 😭 I did love getting to know the characters’ backstories though!

Exciting flick for an origin story. Loved JLaw as mystique

true erik and charles

Take a shot every time Charles says Erik

7.5/10
a brand new BLUE passport

I agree with Magneto 🤷

CHERIK 4 EVA

literally so amazing. i just love seeing the new superpowers on screen. so cool seeing the young versions of them too.

5/5 - My favourite x-men movie and one of my top movies of all time. It’s a great origin & has all the elements of the originals whilst being unique in its story & character stories. I love James McAvoy & Michael Fassbenders interpretations of Charles & Erik sooo much (they’re in love)

after the 3rd x-men movie i knew they doomed themselves to prequels but this one was actually really good
i loved seeing the backstory of the x-men, ESPECIALLY magento 🫦 and mystique 🫦
they did beast DIRTY tho, not only in design but in story too wow
also wolverine cameo :) ❤️

Fassbender and Magneto🔥🔥🔥
