X-Men: Apocalypse Reviews

What a waste of Oscar Isaac. Gorgeous man is covered by blue and prosthetics. Plus, the best part of this movie is Quicksilver. he’s not the main character. It’s Jean. Fuck Jean. I hate her. No hate on Sophie Turner, just Jean Grey. Hating her is a hobby. A passion even.

This was definitely not quite as good as Days of Future Past but I still found some enjoyment out of it mainly because I just love the characters. The CGI isn’t the greatest at times and Apocalypse’s motive is boringly cliche but there are some great scenes and character moments

the timelines on these movies are so confusing

Really enjoyed this film, up until the end…
Apocalypse was beaten farrrrr to quickly and easily. Really left a sour taste in my mouth.

13/07/2023 (Historical Review)

Better than I remember it being but still not the brightest of the bunch. I also learned halfway into this movie that there is a 4th X-men I have never heard of or seen that came out in 2019 when I was on my mission. I will be watching that next

X-men Apocalypse more like X-men Apoptosis.

it was great until the end. it all happened too fast and it didn’t really end up anywhere.
however, i still loved the new characters, they were great additions to the group (shoutout to to oscar isaac and james mcavoy who was SO pretty) !

this movie was hot garbage

Powerful and evil villain. Near perfect casting on the younger iterations. Cool effects and great sequences. I want a Quicksilver offshoot.

Not the best x men bust still better than the avengers

Ending between X & Rose Byrne was kinda beautiful. Didn’t hate it.

Almost as many blue people as the smurfs

I don’t dislike this at all. I think it’s much more enjoyable than any of the first 3 x-men movies by far.

magneto was by far the best thing about this movie tho. they should’ve taken everything with magneto and given him a solo movie. honestly I think it’s one of the greatest aspects of the entire x-men franchise

Quicksilver has so much aura

it was alright i guess, middle was a snooze fest but the beginning and end were pretty good. cyclops😫

Nerfed apocalypse but supporting cast were great
