WWE WrestleMania 42: Saturday Reviews

Nothing special, the hogan documentary was shown more than actually wresting. Cody vs Randy was the only match to go past 20 minutes. Ad breaks killed the flow. And ads were plastered all over the place. WWE going downhill fast man

This is a very average Wrestlemania again just like Wrestlemania 41 Celebrity’s had to ruin the main event 😒 matches are just fine but I wish we had more time with them, it went by too quick

I think Cody is overhyped

Solid, definitely better than last year’s night 1. A couple matches felt way too short but some were perfectly timed. AND MY GIRL PAIGE IS BACK!!!

Cody vs Randy

Stephanie vs Liv

Gunther vs Seth

Aj vs Becky

Jacob vs Drew

Alexa and Charlotte vs Brie and Paige vs Lash and Nia vs Bayley and Lyra

Speed Logan and Austin vs Usos and LA

What a start to WrestleMania weekend! Show starts with John Cena making his entrance in a suit. Then the first match is the 6 man tag team match between the uso’s and the megastar LA Knight against Logan Paul, Austin Theory and iShowSpeed, it was a pretty good match, in the end LA Knight pins Austin Theory and picks up the win for his team. Then after the match Logan Paul attacks speed, then knight and the Uso’s help speed attack Paul and speed hits a frog splash on Paul. Next was the unsanctioned match between the Scottish Warrior Drew McIntyre and the Samoan Werewolf Jacob Fatu, it was a pretty good match and in the end Fatu hits a spring board moonsalt with Drew on the table and picks up the win. Then we had the fatal 4 way tag team match and since Nikki Bella is still hurt, a returning Paige comes back and tags with Brie Bella and they become the new WWE women’s tag team champions. Then the man Becky lynch becomes the new women’s intercontinental champion after defeating AJ Lee. Then the Ring General Gunther puts Seth “freaking” Rollins after a returning Bron Breakker hits Seth with a spear then hits another spear after running down the ramp. Then we the WWE women’s world championship match between Liv Morgan and Stephanie Vaquer, it was a decent match. Raquel and Roxanne interfered and in the end, Liv Morgan is your new women’s world champion. Then in the main event, the undisputed WWE championship is on the line as the viper Randy Orton faces the American Nightmare Cody Rhodes. Before the match starts Pat McAfee attacks Cody then Cody hits a cross Rhodes then Jelly Roll hits an elbow through the table on mcafee and has to be stretchered out. Now it’s Rhodes and Orton one on one, it was a pretty good match, towards the end of the match Orton accidentally hits an RKO on the ref, then hits an RKO on Rhodes, then mcafee comes out in a neck brace and a referee shirt and tries to get the 3 count but Cody kicks out. Then Randy hits an RKO on McAfee then Cody hits a cross Rhodes on Orton and retains the WWE undisputed championship. After the match, Randy hits Cody with the title and punt kicks Cody in the head.

Randy Orton the GOAT 🐐
