The songs and characters were annoying me the whole time. Im cool with musicals as long as the songs are good.

I don’t think this is what anyone wanted from a Wonka prequel. It was barely about him…
People wanted to see where and how he learned all these amazing things, but you see none of that.
Hugh Grant was the best thing about this movie, but he’s rarely featured.

It was fine

I enjoyed this more than I thought. The music was very catchy. I didn’t care much for Hugh Grant as the Oompa Loompa. But Wonka was great. Recommend this to anyone whose a fan of Wonka.
