The songs and characters were annoying me the whole time. Im cool with musicals as long as the songs are good.

I don’t think this is what anyone wanted from a Wonka prequel. It was barely about him…
People wanted to see where and how he learned all these amazing things, but you see none of that.
Hugh Grant was the best thing about this movie, but he’s rarely featured.

Bad songs, decent acting, okay plot

Honestly was such a good movie, I definitely recommend watching! I used to loveee watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory when I was growing up so having this now makes me so happy :)

I loved this movie
