The songs and characters were annoying me the whole time. Im cool with musicals as long as the songs are good.

I don’t think this is what anyone wanted from a Wonka prequel. It was barely about him…
People wanted to see where and how he learned all these amazing things, but you see none of that.
Hugh Grant was the best thing about this movie, but he’s rarely featured.

Aw I absolutely loved this movie. I was always incredibly skeptical about the casting choice for Wonka himself but darn it Chalamet delivered. This movie was magical and special from start to finish and I genuinely struggled not to smile throughout. Strongly recommend!
