The songs and characters were annoying me the whole time. Im cool with musicals as long as the songs are good.

I don’t think this is what anyone wanted from a Wonka prequel. It was barely about him…
People wanted to see where and how he learned all these amazing things, but you see none of that.
Hugh Grant was the best thing about this movie, but he’s rarely featured.

I loved this. A fun time and some very good songs. Loved the plot and the message and Chalamet was spectacular. Fun characters and enough jokes that would fly over the target audiences heads. Some dark themes but played out well. Amazing.
