Witness for the Prosecution Reviews

The most beautiful law movie I've seen in my life, moments you wouldn't expect at the end of the movie.🧑🏻‍⚖️

Very funny and good twist

the last five minutes make it all worth it, but it does take the entire time to feel worth it

courtroom drama at its best. twist after twist, yet it doesn't feel forced; everything was laid out for everyone to see.

Great

great twist!

A all-time courtroom drama classic. Laughton give a top five career performance here, and even though the twists aren’t anything that stands out today, the characters really help cloud believability from start to finish.

👍👍
Great, absorbing, well-written. I'm a sucker for courtroom movies.
Brilliant, lovable protagonist acted very well (even while being a total curmudgeon that needs character growth).

That's a banger twist right there! I was right in the prediction I made, but I didn't expect more from it and left me flabbergasted. Charles Laughton was fantastic here, and overall excellent courtroom drama.

What a court room, what a prosecution!

Interesting court drama up until the very very end. Then it just gets goofy af. I don't care how much ppl like that ending, that was trash. Felt like one of those things you add in just cuz you can.

Rating: 7/10

Overall this movie was interesting, exciting and well done. Twist were presented like a firework show; little burst here or there and then an almost overwhelming finale. Definitely worth a watch if you like court room dramas and mysteries.

(mostly) fantastic film.

Never saw it coming. Not like that. A truly surprising film. Refreshing. Power, Dietrich and Laughton are powerhouses.

it's hard not to like courtroom dramas, this was one of the oldest movies iv watched with such a modern take on what it is. yes it is long but there's segments of this movie were I couldn't stop watching.

Such great performances and a really interesting, twisty story.

What a plot twist!
