british and rancid: love it

eccentric, genuine and absurd characters in lived-in sets filled with meticulous details. slice of life situation. unexpected underlying side-plot. some quite cinematic shots on the countryside. one reoccurring short musical theme i liked. enjoyed the detail with the pint spill.

An idiosyncratic British take on the end of the 60s. As aesthetically depressing as you'd expect something like this to be, but in a good way

It’s a fun movie that you should watch with your mates it’s comedy can tell a fun story and it’s complete tonal switch can leave you wanting more. It’s worth your time indefinitely. Overall 8.8-8.9/10 depends on time (it’s like A Clockwork Orange + Home Alone + DW Tv Movie)

absolute fucking cracker

Just a pure marvel of a film. It’s funny, tense and often gross. Amazing performances from everyone. Feels ahead of its time in many ways too. Paced and directed well, doesn’t waste time or overstate it’s welcome. Brilliant film
