Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory

The more I rewatch this movie the more fucked up I realize Willy Wonka truly is. Between the tunnel scene and the blood red river in the chocolate room, Gene Wilder takes his role and makes it into something extremely interesting. Movie is still good after 50 years

This movie is sweet, if you know what I mean. 😉 But really, this is a classic.

A classic for sure but I feel like nostalgia plays a huge role when people think about this movie. Growing up with RD’s novels I prefer Johnny Depp’s version as it’s closer to how I imagined Wonka to be.

Tbh i like the johnny depp version better, mostly cuz i grew up with that one. But this one still peak and iconic

Funny and accurate depiction of the book

This movie scared me as a child. I rewatched it as an adult and it still freaks me out for some reason. I still have respect this film. However, I like the remake more than this.
