Wild Strawberries
This was so deeply personal and human that you can’t help but feel for the characters. This is what film is all about. 9/10

Wild Strawberries
such a heartfelt and emotional story, possibly bergman’s most revelatory and somber. i thought that the narrative was handled perfectly, and the charismatic performances elevate the dark subject matter. definitely something to think on and revisit, tremendous

Honestly, the way our lead, Isak Borg, reflects on his life and some of its themes I could see in my future, and it scares me. Anyway, it abruptly ended, which kind of sucks because I wanted to know more, but still it's another amazing film from Bergman. Perhaps on a revisit it'll be closer to "Persona" or "Autumn Sonata."

When a movie is this incredible and remains one of the weaker entries in a man's filmography, you know you're dealing with something truly special.

The 1950’s were such a different time. This is a road trip film done right. I’m starting to really love Victor Sjöstrom’s work. A quite an emotional tale as well as a mind bending methodical movie. I love the ideologies of romance that we’re put into this film.

I don't mind melancholy or slow pace, but might be too dumb for Bergman, or his style just isn't for me. Sjöström is excellent, and there are good scenes & cinematography. But it didn't connect, partly due to the fragmented, surreal plot structure & dialogue that felt unnatural.

Really nice camera work and thought out shots. But ultimately I just didn’t connect with the story.

Definitely a pretty good movie. I liked the themes of this film a lot but I wasn’t extremely in love with it. Still a great film by Bergman though.

Wild Strawberries is a brilliant film that manages to tackle so many of themes during its relatively short runtime, most notably regret. 9/10
