3.6 - This has an intriguing core concept around EVP but nothing about the way the story unfolds makes sense.

Caught between a sad & longing ghost love story & what seems to want to be a haunting-style horror, it ends up way more convoluted than necessary. Between switching from communication after death, to premonition, to possession, to serial killer under possession(?), there’s just too many stories at play. Motivations don’t always make sense. Specific people’s fates are never explained. And not a single CGI element holds up.

Credit where due though, Michael Keaton makes it watchable & a lot of the reason January horror is a thing can be traced back to this movie’s box office success, so that’s something to note.

Need to find the 2007 sequel which supposedly is better in pretty much every way.

Simultaneously love & hate this movie. There are very few movies that give me the Willie's. This is absolutely one of them. The closest contender is Signs for this feeling. Watched it first years ago, still feel uncomfortable looking at static in tv or listening to white noise.

the cgi was kinda bad and there were a lot of questions left unanswered. but michael keaton was spectacular, as always. good twist

I can easily say this is one of my favourite horror movies. Michael Keaton is amazing in this and I highly recommend to horror fans who haven't seen it

Still to this day makes me panic when I hear static or see it on a tv. Such a good movie!

A movie that hasn’t aged well but good acting from Michael Keaton and its a more sad film than a horror

This movie was kinda mid. The story wasn’t very special and it wasn’t really scary, but Michael Keaton did a nice job in this movie.

This movie scared the crap out of me at 9 and I will never watch it again
