I have read the book and really enjoyed watching it too.

This movie made me want to kill myself. A cold Russian story of isolation, loneliness, deprivation and carelessness masquerading as romance and love. It’s these deep pits in the characters that make it so much more tragic to watch. The book was better, but this hurt nonetheless.

P.S: A dreamer that felt so irrelevant and gave us the exact opposite reaction to his heartaches!
