I saw this film and thought it was a great film, then i read the true story and realized the power of hollywood had to change it to make it way more interesting. Its a great film about football and perseverance but didnt need hollywood magic.

The movie really wants to be Friday Night Lights. I think the main issue is the characters just aren’t as interesting. The story mainly focuses on the Coach and its fairly tropey. It’s pretty well shot though and worth the watch.
