When a Stranger Calls

This is the slowest of slow burns that becomes even more unbearable when you already know what’s going to happen having seen the original. But I think that’s also what makes it work. You sit there for up to 50 minutes just anxiously waiting for the line to come up. Great thrills.

does a great job of keeping the viewer on their toes without being too predictable. good resolution with a mind bending last two minutes.
