What's Love Got to Do with It?

Definitely got emotional watching this. Great representation for Muslim/Pakistanis and so beautiful to see a story like this on this big screen. Gives you a well-balanced perspective on arranged marriages and such great chemistry between the two leads.

just finished it took me 2 days bc i started watching it too late at night. it was good and i liked it but i wish there was more or a part 2. the reviews made it seem like it was gonna suck but it didn’t. i cried at the movie with jamila i think was her name (kaz’s sister).

I liked the insight on some Muslim weddings, which made me happy since I have a Muslim boyfriend myself. I just wish that the ending was a little better.

This was a surprisingly pleasant watch. I’d admit some familiarity with the British-Pakistani culture shown in this movie. Want to say it’s a good watch with the family but perhaps some topics may be sensitive for them.

truly couldn't have cared less if the main characters ended up together in the end and it didn't really feel like a comedy nor a romance but it was a really touching story about family and culture and the reunion at the end made me cry
