Sometimes it’s difficult to put your feelings into words. that is the case here. This movie felt beautiful and bittersweet to me. The relationship between Gilbert and Arnie and everyone else is told so miraculous. You can only love Arnie. And the music at the end…😫

Directors really set the tone with the setting
Really interesting family dynamics
Ending would be stronger if was bittersweet- surprised at how happy it is

i physically cannot understand how leo did not win an oscar for this. this is one of the greatest films i’ve ever seen. the characters. it’s a simple film. ardy finding her is so traumatic.

The amount of emotional depth, character development, and overall characters of this film makes this a truly treasurable one. Depp and DiCaprio deliver stunning performances as the lead characters. The pacing is slow, but it’s meant to be slow and the rest of it is iconic. 9.4/10
