Tony is the most annoying character I have ever seen. Somebody tell Maria that killing your brother is a red flag. Also a red flag: people who like musicals. Had to watch this for school and personally I think it’s overrated.

this movie has awful hispanic representation but just something about Rita Moreno being Anita always makes me cry happy tears bc she’s amazing

We watched this film in music lesson and the story catched me even, when it was early in the morning. So imo it has a good story for musical with many catchy tune songs👍👍.

rita moreno is a genius, puro orgullo boricua. favorite musical in the whole wide world. amazing storytelling, well-thought choreography, insane musical composition and super clever lyrics. perfect.

get those rhythmic snapping mfs into a british secondary school and they’d be screaming within the minute 7.5/10

My Rating: 8/10

Nominated for 11 Oscar’s and won 10! Holds the record for most wins for a musical. It’s definitely one of the greatest musicals of all time and the musical numbers are memorable. Is it my fave? No. But love the storyline.
