We Need to Talk About Kevin is a brilliant film with excellent writing and truly superb directing. The performances are fantastic especially from Tilda Swinton who gave an Oscar worthy performance and from Ezra Miller who quite frankly wasn’t even acting. 8.5/10

am i the only one that feels bad for the mom? she tried to take kevin to the doctor as a baby & constantly expressed her concerns to her husband but was brushed off. she attempted to be there for her son knowing he wasnt right, so idk how any of it is her fault. idk, my opinion

Immensely dark movie. Such a strange direction from the start, didn’t understand the reasoning for it but it was sad and I hated it. But it was very well done and the performances were solid. Unsure about the end but overall I think I liked it. 8.5/10

honestly for a 2011 psychological thriller it’s not bad at all. tilda swinton and (unfortunately) ezra miller are such good actors.
ending was predictable but i don’t think it was meant to be a crazy reveal anyway
